After the network went down for more than four hours on June 1, Solana’s value dropped by 12%.
This is the second time in the previous 30 days that an outage has happened.
A glitch prompted the outage, which halted block manufacturing. On Twitter, Solana Status announced the blackout and asked validators to resume the network using the account’s guidelines.

The latest Solana outage is due to a bug.
Antony Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana Labs, recounted what transpired. He stated,
- Durable nonce instruction caused part of the network to consider the block is invalid, no consensus could be formed.
