The extremely extensive and varied ecosystem of the Kadena blockchain (KDA) is well-known. The projects that are implemented there evolve over a variety of registers, including NFTs, the metaverse, decentralized finance (DeFi), gaming, and many others. We provide you an overview of this environment’s operation in this article.
The Kadena Blockchain: What Is It?
American developers Stuart Popejoy and Will Martino founded the decentralized network Kadena in 2016. It is intended to facilitate low-cost money transfers, the use of smart contracts, and the creation of decentralized applications (DApps). It has many benefits, including a high level of security and widespread energy efficiency. Additionally, it claims a record throughput of about 480,000 TPS as well as scalability on an industrial scale. The Kadena network also employs a Proof-of-Work (PoS) consensus technique known as “scalable.”
The KDA is Kadena’s native token as well. It has a 1 billion token worldwide supply that will be mined over a 120-year period. The distribution of this wealth is as follows: 70% goes to minors, 20% goes to platform development, 7% goes to investors, and 3% goes to donors. There are currently over 185 million tokens in use. All for a market valuation of approximately $284 million.
Multiple ecosystems
Over forty solutions are supported by the Kadena blockchain. Additionally, these suit many application cases:
- NFT: Little Wagmi, SpynXXX Cats, The Kadenians, Variation Apes, Alpha Slayers Club, Babena, Easy Robots, Future Proof, KryptoMerch, Kadcars, Gallinas, Kadena Life Sale NFTs,…
- Keykad, Anadek, and Crankk tokens
- DEX: Kidswap, Kaddex, and Night DEX
- Launchpads: Marmalade, Backalley, Hypercent, and KDAPad
- DApps: Timpi, Cyberfly, Docushield, and Kosh
- Play-to-Earn games include Crazy Runners, The Miners of Kadena, and UFO Gaming.
- DeFi: Lago Finance, Stake Factory, KDABet, and Babena Finance
- Exchanges: Coinmetro, Gate, Okcoin, OKX, Kucoin, Bittrex Global, Binance, Kucoin, and Crypto.com
- Wallets: Zelcore, Chainweaver, X-Wallet, Clover Finance, Torus, and Ledger
- Smart contracts: Kadenamint and Pact
- Wrapped up interoperability
- Layers 1 and 2: Celo, Kuro, Cosmos, Luna, Polkadot,
A number of collaborators, both inside and outside the cryptosphere, are noted for Kadena.
Kadena’s surrounding ecology has already seen some development. However, it still has to develop in comparison to other blockchains. This will be easier to do with frequent updates and an effective communication plan.
