The private Shibarium tesnet’s alpha version is operational.
The alpha version of the Shibarium private testnet has been operational for a number of weeks, according to the most recent Shibarium updates offered by the Unification team. The platform is being developed for release to the general public. In addition to staking/delegation, the platform is built to make two-way asset transfers between L1 and L2 as well as the inclusion of Shibaswap possible in forthcoming releases. These features are all being worked on right now.
The private testnet for Shibarium is also expected to launch in beta form in the third quarter. Users of the tool will be able to interact fully with the network, including throughout the certification process. ShibaInuart, a Twitter account run by the Shiba Inu community, stated their expectations for the beginning of this beta phase. According to him, once the Shibarium private testnet beta is operational, the primary processes for users engaging with the blockchain environment will evaluate efficiency, user-friendliness optimization, and stability of the architecture.
Shibainuart thanked the Switchere team for taking the time to learn about the Shiba Inu trifecta: SHIB, BONE, and LEASH, and at the moment all eyes are on Switchere’s Shiba Inu ecosystem. Separately, cryptocurrency exchange Binance turned on tracking for BONE earlier this week, sparking rumors of a potential IPO.
