Whale data tracking platform WhaleStats revealed that roughly 15 hours ago, the aforementioned notable Ethereum whale purchased 536 billion Shiba Inu tokens for $2.89 million.
Whales typically buy and sell a large number of tokens in a short period of time in order to profit from price changes. Given that 15 hours have gone since the massive buy, and SHIB has gained roughly 7% in that time, it’ll be fascinating to see if BlueWhale’s wallet still retains the Shiba Inu tokens.
At press time, the whale’s wallet contained only 34,070,809,433.35 SHIB tokens worth $283,349, according to blockchain statistics. This effectively means that despite the shaky nature of the market, a large number of tokens were sold and profits were made.
