Over the following two years, a major makeover will be performed on the former Staples Center, now known as the Crypto.com Arena. With the upgrades and refurbishment of this landmark location, the cryptocurrency trading platform hopes to improve its reputation.
Crypto.com makes investments to advance the scene
The crypto exchange intends to spend “nine figures” to upgrade the Crypto.com Arena. Indeed, platform authorities declared on Monday that modifications would be made to the Lakers, Clippers, Sparks, and Kings’ (NHL) home. Crypto.com has a 700 million dollar contract to create this place in its likeness.
- “It’s one million square feet (92,000 m2). And you can do a lot with a million square feet. ” says Dan Beckerman, general manager of AEG.
Professional sports are becoming increasingly more expensive to play. The upgrades will therefore be concentrated mostly on the VIP seats and Crypto.com Arena Membership. The President’s private club downstairs and the Impact Sports Bar & Grill close to the main plaza will also undergo renovations. The venue suite level foyer will also get new paint, frosted glass doors, and a bathroom.
There are several upgrades on the program.
There will be various improvements made. There will be new LED screens and ribbon panels on the show. The lobby floors will thereafter be improved, and the Crypto.com Arena will get catering. Not to mention the upgrades to the Lakers, Kings, and Sparks’ locker rooms’ air conditioners.
The LA Live area will be connected to Crypto.com Arena via an outdoor gathering area, which is possibly the most significant alteration. As a result, the street connecting these two locations will be removed to make way for a tree-lined public space.
According to representatives of Crypto.com Arena, this multi-million dollar project should be finished by 2024. The NBA and NHL seasons in 2022–2023, however, will already gain from a number of changes.
