Tim Draper, a billionaire venture entrepreneur, still believes that his ambitious $250,000 bitcoin price prediction will come true this year, fueled by women.
Tim Draper told seasoned crypto trader Scott Melker that his bullish $250K bitcoin price estimate for this year remains unchanged. Despite the current collapse, the early bitcoin investor remains optimistic about the world’s most popular cryptocurrency.
He claims that more women will start using bitcoin, resulting in a significant increase in the asset’s user population. “All of a sudden, every woman will have a Bitcoin wallet and will be buying goods with Bitcoin,” Draper said.
Given that women oversee almost half of the wealth in the United States, the tech investor’s prediction that they may help drive the BTC price to astronomical heights is not overly ambitious.
Draper also mentioned that merchants with tight margins have yet to learn that accepting Bitcoin instead of credit cards might save them a lot of money.
