Coinbase Terminates Coinbase Pro and Launches Advanced Trade Module

To combine its services into a single offering, Coinbase will discontinue Coinbase Pro, its professional trading platform. The bitcoin exchange will launch a new feature called “Advanced Trade” as a result. It is a module that is included into both its website and mobile application and contains all of Coinbase Pro’s features.

Final clap for Coinbase Pro

In order to make room for “Advanced Trade,” a comparable offering that will be integrated with the exchange’s other services, Coinbase will start disbanding Coinbase Pro.

This move was made due to overlapping features between Coinbase Pro and Coinbase.com, which caused difficulty in financial transactions.

By enabling users to access the full spectrum of cryptocurrency investment products from a balance and a distinctive interface, this upgrade seeks to enhance the user experience. Additionally, it attempts to make complex capabilities more accessible to small dealers.

The precise dates for Coinbase Pro’s shutdown are currently unknown. The exchange has guaranteed that it will take steps to promptly inform its users.

But until Coinbase Pro is finally retired, the two services will continue to exist side by side. According to the cryptocurrency exchange, “there is no action to be taken for consumers holding assets on Coinbase Pro, monies will remain safe on Coinbase”

New Advanced Trade functionality

Advanced Trade, which will launch in November 2021, is anticipated to have more functionality than Coinbase Pro. Additionally, even though similar costs will be charged, it is expected to enable quicker trade execution.

  • “Advanced Trade offers deeper technical analysis, advanced real-time order books and charts powered by TradingView to help clients research and analyze the crypto markets before making investment decisions ,” perhaps we read in the official press release.

It also offers improved order flow, making it simpler and quicker to place orders directly on Coinbase Exchange.

With cold storage infrastructures under constant supervision and money given by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the United States, Advanced Trade would have a high level of security.
