Through a cooperation with a cryptocurrency platform, the Dubai Charity Association is now accepting cryptocurrency donations.
The site will accept cryptocurrency donations and then transfer them to the association’s bank account in local currency as part of the cooperation.
According to Khalid Al Olama, the Association’s Secretary-General, taking donations in cryptocurrency is unique in UAE charitable activity and will assist attract donations that would benefit those in need.
Adel Mattar, a member of the Association’s Board of Directors, praised the organization’s collaboration with Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, which is facilitating the process of accepting cryptocurrency donations.
